  1. Prepare land & asset inventory
  2. Detailed inventory of all land and assets affected by the project footprint area. The inventory and data needs to be in excel format that can be used directly for the valuation work.  
  3. Land parcel and asset GIS and mapping of land & assets affected by the project footprint area.
  • Provide expert review and inputs of information for relevant sections from the draft Livelihood Restoration Plan, eg. L&A survey and valuation methodology, basis of valuation and valuation rates used. These inputs will feed into the draft LRP which is expected to be produced in July/August 2018.
  1. Land & Asset Valuation
  2. Valuation of all affected fields and assets within the project footprint area,
  3. Valuation needs to be at full replacement cost in line with Ghanaian legal and IFC PS5 requirements and data and rates approved by the Land Commission’s Land Valuation Division.
  • The valuation should be in excel format and provide schedules for individual land users and asset owners. A summary valuation report shall be provided. 

 

 Final Outputs:

  1. Formal Valuation signed off and agreed with Land Commission as appropriate.
  2. The consultant will provide necessary inputs into the preparation of the compensation and livelihood assistance agreements with affected users.

Inputs into the Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP) and review of relevant LRP sections.
